Knights Ferry was without power last Wednesday for a few hours while a power pole was replaced in town. The scheduled outage was set for a few weeks ago but due to a winter storm, the crew had to reschedule. They were able to repair it quickly and our power was restored!

If you have yet to complete your holiday shopping, consider purchasing items from our local businesses for gifts and stocking stuffers. Many of our businesses have gift certificates, shirts, bags, art pieces, postcards, stickers etc. for purchase and they would be great gifts for people who live out of town who would like a little piece of Knights Ferry! I purchased a cute bag with the Miller’s Hall building from the Post Office, noticed some great locally sourced and handmade pottery pieces at the Art Studio, and who doesn’t love the General Store swag!? The Creamery has closed their doors for the year to reopen in January but they have cool coffee mugs, stickers, and they sell delicious coffee.

The Knights Ferry Post Office has holiday stamps available for purchase! Support our local Post Office by purchasing stamps for your holiday cards. Not only is our Post Office a piece of history, it is a luxury in town. Please be patient and kind with our Post Office volunteers and remember to try to pick up your deliveries as soon as possible. Our volunteers do a fantastic job keeping up with the heavy loads of holiday mail and deliveries!
