The Community Christmas Dinner at the Community Club was very well attended! As with all our community events, there was plenty of food to feed everyone and plenty of good conversation. Thank you to all the Community Club members who brought the main courses including the turkey and the ham! The members purchase and prepare those large holiday dishes and they can be quite a labor of love!

The “Knight at the Museum” was incredible! I look forward to this special event every year. The Museum members put together a festive and enjoyable evening to invite the community to the Museum. Walking up to the Miller’s Hall building in the moonlight and then around the museum lit up with soft lighting made it extra special! Dorothy McKinsey prepared the hors d’oeuvres and a few of the members stood by to help pour wine and answer questions about the museum. They served cookies and coffee for dessert. This year they did a raffle and small silent auction. Tickets were able to be purchased and the winners were announced later in the evening. The baskets were full of goodies! They had garden items, wine and cheese, tool kits, an antique teapot, items for dogs, and even a rafting trip! For entertainment, the Museum invited Diane, the great-great-great-great-great granddaughter of William Knight to play the violin for the crowd. Diane was accompanied by Liz, William Knight’s great-great granddaughter. Additionally, the Creamery and the Art Studio were open during the open house. It was a beautiful evening with holiday decorations, delicious food, fabulous company, and beautiful music!
