Happy New Year! I am looking forward to a new year in Knights Ferry. We have so many wonderful activities to look forward to throughout the year. The Civil War reenactments, Community Club Spaghetti dinner, both Car Shows, the Peddler’s Faire, the Odd Fellow’s St. Patrick’s Day feast, the Music Festival, the Pumpkin Roll, the Knights Ferry School’s Thanksgiving Feast, the Salmon Festival, and Christmas dinner at the Community Club are just a few things we generally plan throughout the year. Not to mention the live music playing at the General Store and the River’s Edge, the unique crafting events at the Art Studio, the Chess Club, and the taco Tuesdays at the General Store! We sure know how to have fun in town!

The Voortman family celebrated David’s 50th birthday a little early over the weekend by throwing David a surprise party! Heather enlisted the help of her family and friends to set up the ultimate surprise for David at Miller’s Hall. David was surprised and the party was enjoyed by all in attendance.
