The Aaron Judge ALL RISE Foundation (AJARF) hosted its New York Gala – All-Star Evening – at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City on Friday, Nov. 18, 2022.
More than 450 guests, including professional athletes and leaders in the sports world, enjoyed an evening of signature cocktails, fine dining, a silent auction including signed sports memorabilia from baseball all-star Aaron Judge and other professional athletes who support the Foundation. The live auction included several game-day experiences with Judge, as well as the live auction favorite “Hey Aaron, can we have a catch?” offering four children the opportunity to play catch and have lunch with Judge. Patty Judge, President of AJARF shared, “We are grateful to our ALL RISE friends, sponsors and guests for helping raise more than $1.6 million to continue to expand the mission of the foundation.”
“The mission of ALL RISE is to inspire children and youth to become responsible citizens and encourage them to reach unlimited possibilities,” said Judge, a Linden High School graduate, 2022 American League Most Valuable Player, and Founder of the Aaron Judge ALL RISE Foundation. “We are excited to be expanding our programs and collaborations into the New York region as we strive to make a real difference for the kids who need it the most. Since the launch of AJARF, we have been fortunate to be able to put the AJARF mission into action and help our youth learn and grow.”
Businesses and individuals responded in a big way to support the event. Signature Sponsors are: The Duane Davis Foundation; Enzo Olive Oil Company; Jersey Mike’s Subs; New York Yankees; Tall Order; United Legwear & Apparel Co.
The Grand Slam Sponsors who stepped up to the plate are Albert Dal Porto Farms; Fresno State; Major League Baseball (MLB); The McCormick Family Foundation; Nationwide Mortgage Brokers; Panoche Creek; and T-Mobile.
Proceeds from the “All-Star Evening” support ALL RISE programs and initiatives such as: Aaron Judge Baseball Camps that focus on developing positive character traits; awards and incentive programs in schools and local organizations to encourage and reward academic improvement and excellence, and ALL RISE Mini Grants. The ALL RISE Mini-Grants support the ALL RISE mission by providing opportunities to non-profit organizations throughout the regions where they are engaged: to encourage and fund student participation at Leadership Development Conferences and Camps; and engage in Citizenship Programs and School assemblies to improve the culture and climate of school campuses.
In 2019, AJARF had its first All-Star Evening in Judge’s hometown of Linden. Later that year the All-Star Evening was held in Fresno where this year’s American League MVP attended Fresno State University. The excitement of the New York All-Star Evening has been building since 2021 when it had to be postponed due to the pandemic. The Foundation is thrilled to have had the opportunity to finally hold the event in New York, where Judge had a historic season for the New York Yankees, setting the single season American League home run record with 62 home runs.
Founded in 2018, the Aaron Judge ALL RISE Foundation is dedicated to inspiring children and youth to become responsible citizens by engaging them in activities that encourage them to reach unlimited possibilities.
