The Oakdale Community United Methodist Church announces the inception of a weekly Grief Group. The losses of family members, spouses or friends, particularly over the last two years, has had a great impact on our county and our community. The formation of the local weekly grief group for community members is meant to assist those who seek greater peace in the company of others who have also suffered loss, and with whom they can share and grow together. The group is open ended and ongoing. The service is free, except for materials. Group is conducted by a trained grief facilitator. Reservations may be made by calling 209-840-7939. Future meeting times may be adjusted according to the schedules of those who are enrolled.

The new “Find Your Peace” group will have its formational meeting on Monday, March 28, 2 p.m., at 1480 Poplar St., Oakdale.
