The first meeting of 2025 for the Escalon Farmington Community Garden Club is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 2 at the Escalon United Methodist Church, 2000 Jackson Ave., corner of Highway 120 and Brayton.

Meeting time is 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.; topic will be California Botanical Gardens by Laura Fortuna.

The speaker will be on the agenda first, followed by the business meeting. Snacks and a social time are also included in the gathering. All gardening enthusiasts from throughout the region are invited to attend.
