Basi Insurance Services Inc. is hosting a free community ‘Shred Event’ on Saturday, Aug. 22.

Local residents can bring in paper documents for shredding; hours are 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., or until the truck is full. The event will be staged in the parking lot at the Basi Insurance Services building, 1491 E. G St., Oakdale.

There is a limit of five boxes of documents per household and this is a paper only event, no electronics.

You must be present to shred; no drop offs. Free boxes will be available at the end.
