Stanislaus County Clerk Recorder and Registrar of Voters Donna Linder announced the Nov. 5, 2024 Presidential General Election canvass of the vote per California law was completed Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2024. The Certified Statement of Vote is posted on the election website, www.stanvote.gov.
Stanislaus County had 293,212 registered voters eligible to cast their ballot in this election, of which 200,183 voted. Voter turnout was 68.27 percent. There were several races of local interest on the ballot.
Oakdale City Council – The top two vote getters out of the four running for available posts earned the seats; Jarod Pitassi was the top vote getter with 5,272 votes and Jeff Kettering was second with 3,972. Also running were Justin Biedinger and Caitlyn Barreda. Meanwhile, Patrick Mondragon polled 7,533 votes in his unopposed bid for Oakdale City Clerk and Alanna Bryant received 7,585 votes in her unopposed run for Oakdale City Treasurer.
Oakdale Joint Unified School District Measure G – The bond measure received more than the needed percentage to pass; the vote was 9,010 votes in favor, 6,412 opposed.
Oakdale Irrigation District, Division 4 – Challenger Jacob DeBoer won election to the seat with 1,502 votes while incumbent Linda Santos received 599 votes.
Oak Valley Hospital District Director – A three-way race for two seats on the hospital board saw Sara West Shipman polling the most votes, 8,875, to win a term along with Shirrelle O. Moore-Mmasi, second in the voting with 7,191 votes. Also running was Danielle Louise Sanders.
Oakdale Joint Unified School District Board, Area 3 – Incumbent Tina M. Shatswell won re-election with a total of 1,176 votes in a close race, as challenger Spencer Cooper polled 1,082 votes.
