Homecoming Week in Oakdale started off Saturday, Sept. 24 with the traditional painting of downtown business windows by the various class levels. Theme for the Fall Homecoming focuses on movies, with the freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors all decorating windows based on their chosen Hollywood blockbuster.

Homecoming candidates have also been announced and the varsity football Mustangs open Valley Oak League play by hosting the Sierra Timberwolves in the Friday night, Sept. 30 contest. The game, along with the crowning of new royalty, will close out the weeklong celebration.
