Oakdale Police continue to investigate a pair of armed robberies, with each one taking place in the early morning hours at local convenience stores.
The first incident took place at Circle K, 1515 W. F St., Oakdale, on Wednesday, Feb. 14 just before 12:30 a.m.
Oakdale Police responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Circle K and determined two masked male adults armed with handguns robbed the store, taking money from the cash register, and fleeing from the scene.
The first suspect was described as a male adult, in his 20s, armed with a handgun, wearing a black ski mask, black hooded sweatshirt, white pants, black shoes, and carrying a black backpack with a yellow circle emblem. The second suspect was described as a male adult, in his 20s, armed with a handgun, wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, blue shirt underneath, white sweatpants, dark colored shoes, white and black bandana, possibly portraying a skeleton mask, concealing part of his face.
The second incident occurred less than 24 hours later. On Thursday, Feb. 15 about 2:15 a.m., police were called to a report of an armed robbery at the 7-11 store at 1138 W. F St.
Officers arrived on scene early Thursday and again it was determined that two masked men were involved in the crime. One was armed with a handgun and the two robbed the store, taking money from the cash register, and fleeing from the scene. They were last seen running westbound from the business on foot.
The first suspect was described as a male adult, approximately six feet tall, dressed in all black and wearing a mask. The second suspect was described as a male adult, also about six feet tall dressed in an all gray sweat suit, and also wearing a mask.
