Composting basics at libraries
UC ANR

Residents interested in learning the basics of composting can do so through an upcoming class. Hosted by the UCCE Master Gardeners, the class will show attendees how to have a successful compost pile for houseplants and gardens.

At the Oakdale Library on South First Avenue, class is scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 8 at 6 p.m.

In Riverbank, the program at the library on Santa Fe Street is scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 19 at 2 p.m.

The Master Gardeners put on regular classes around the region; the composting basics will be hosted at a total of 10 library branches around Stanislaus County during October.
