Sunny skies are forecast and conditions should be great for a scheduled Color Fun Run at Oakdale’s Kerr Park on Saturday, April 22.

Presented by Oakdale Christian Academy, there is a $20 entry fee for all ages to take part in the color run; although those two and under are admitted free.

Along with the run around the park through the colorful powder, sure to leave you bright with all the colors of the rainbow, the day will include a bounce house, balloon artist, face painting, several food trucks, a mega raffle, and an appearance by Spiderman and friends.

Activities will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Kerr Park, 840 N. Stearns Road, Oakdale with several start times for the run itself, taking off in groups scheduled for 10:15 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.

The colored chalk used doesn’t stain, is non-toxic and gluten free.

Pre-registration will ensure a T-shirt and swag bag; supplies will be limited the day of the event.

Raffle tickets are $5 and the drawings will include prizes such as gift cards, gift baskets, beauty products, jewelry and more. The grand prize is Disneyland tickets for a family of four.
