Coffee with a Cop scheduled Thursday
opd

Oakdale Police Department will set up shop for a brief time at the local Starbucks, 325 E. F St., Oakdale, on Thursday morning, Sept. 26.

Officers will be on hand to visit with residents, sipping coffee while sharing conversation and concerns. Hours for the event are 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.

Officers said the mission of these regularly scheduled Coffee with a Cop events is to “break down the barriers between police officers and the citizens they serve.”

With no formal agenda, there is time for officers to meet people, answer their questions and for the police and citizens to learn more about each other. Officers also want to hear from people about anything happening in their neighborhood or to offer feedback about public safety.

All in the community are welcome to attend.
