Ushering in crab season, it’s the 10th annual Crab Feed fundraiser to raise money for the Center for Human Services’ Oakdale Family Resource and Counseling Center (FRC).
The crab feed proceeds will support FRC’s numerous programs for children, families and individuals. Featuring a dessert auction, silent auction, live auction, drinks and dancing in addition to the dinner.
Date for the event is Friday, Feb. 17 and it is scheduled from 6 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., at the Oakdale FES Hall, 190 N. Lee Ave., Oakdale.
The Oakdale Family Resource and Counseling Center has been a pillar of support to the community for over 12 years. This fundraiser provides much-needed funds to continue meeting the needs of the community. Services include: emergency food and clothing; monthly food box distribution; rent and utility assistance; substance use treatment program. Also, school readiness classes for children; parent education classes; personal hygiene products.
