Coming up later this month, it’s the Memorial Hall Antique Fair in Tuolumne, set for Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 12 and 13.

The show is produced by two sisters, Kristen Kestly and Jennifer Agnes, under the business name Vault Art.

“We put together two shows a year, one in the spring and another usually mid-October,” Kestly explained. “The two-day Antique Fair is held in the Veterans Memorial Hall located in the center of the small town of Tuolumne”.

Roughly eight miles east Sonora, Tuolumne also boasts the Black Oak Casino.

The Veterans Memorial Hall is a large depression era building surrounded by a shaded park and lots of parking. The venue, said Kestly, features a good security system, which makes for a safe environment for vendors and their treasures.

“The building hosts lots of activities all year long and is a beloved part of this community,” added Kestly.

This year marks the 15th year for the October antique fair; it will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12 and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 13.

The first hour of the antique fair, from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Saturday morning is a preview. Buyers can pay $5 for the privilege of shopping that first hour in a less crowded environment.
