The Honorable Ruben Villalobos, Stanislaus County Superior Court Judge, is the final spring presenter for Modesto Junior College’s Positive People Speaker Series. The free public presentation is Thursday, April 6 at 6 p.m. in the Mary Stuart Rogers Student Learning Center on West Campus, 2201 Blue Gum Ave., Modesto. Campus parking is $2.

Judge Villalobos grew up in Modesto and attended college at University of California, Berkeley. He will share his personal journey, including his experience at UC Davis School of Law, becoming a lawyer, serving on the Modesto City School Board and becoming a judge.

The speaker series, offered by the MJC Office of Campus Life and Student Learning, features local community members who have overcome challenges and obstacles to achieve their goals. The community is invited to come hear these stories of inspiration and motivation.
