Michael Thomas Ian Cunningham of Santee and Amy May Beeman of Escalon were married on May 25, 2014 and enjoyed the company of their family and friends at a beautiful location in Mission Bay, San Diego, CA.

The couple met at University of California San Diego where they competed together on the track team.

The bride is an assistant professor of psychology at San Diego Mesa College. Her parents are Roger and Ardell Beeman of Escalon, and her siblings are Kevin Beeman and wife Kelsey, Brian Beeman and Michael Beeman.

The groom serves in the U.S. Navy and his parents are Bruce Cunningham of Virginia and Pamela Burney of Arizona. His siblings are James and Nina Cunningham.

The colors of the wedding were red, white and blue. The groom’s daughter Isabella and sister Nina were the flower girls and ring bearer was Nate Millard of Escalon. Members of the wedding party also included Escalon natives Kelsey Gregg (Riggs), Trinity Brocker (Garcia), Linda Rangel and Megan Voorhees.
