Steve and Luann Drewrey of Oakdale are pleased to announcement the engagement of their daughter, Marissa Rae Drewrey to Christopher Fulton Adcock, son of Jeff and Michelle Adcock of Garland, Texas and Christina Adcock of Heath, Texas.

The bride-to-be graduated from Oakdale High School and the University of California, Berkeley where she played NCAA softball and completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Art Practice. She is currently employed by lululemon athletica in Berkeley.

The future groom graduated from Dallas Christian High School and the University of California, Berkeley, with Bachelor’s Degrees in both Business Administration from HAAS Business School and Interdisciplinary Studies. He is currently completing his last season as the starting center on the football team for CAL. After CAL, he will be pursuing a medical degree with hopes of becoming an orthopedic surgeon.

Marissa has a sister, Jamie and Chris has a brother, Garrett and stepbrothers John and Scott.

Their wedding is planned for May 2015 in Oakdale.
