Elizabeth Carmen Frago and Shawn Patrick Harkins were engaged shortly before Valentine’s Day this year with plans for an April wedding at Hans Fahden Vineyards in Sonoma County.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Donald and Carmen Frago of Merced and her siblings are David Boberg, Chris Frago and Elisa Iversen. She is a graduate of Merced College and is currently employed with El Capitan High School.

The prospective groom is the son of James Harkins of Kigali, Rwanda and he has a twin brother, Mike Harkins. He graduated from CSU-Stanislaus, and was formerly of American University of Beirut and Humboldt State. He currently works as a substitute teacher with Oakdale Public Schools and as a freelance author.

The wedding is set for April 22.
