Kenneth and Debby Burton of Oakdale recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary.

The couple was married on Oct. 5, 1974 in Reno, Nevada. They have lived in Oakdale for over 50 years.

They have two children, Amy Burton and Stephanie Ringeisen and two grandchildren.

They celebrated their anniversary with a surprise party given by their daughters.
